Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
Quarry is a coding-interview practice app for SQL, pandas, and Python. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: Quarry collects nothing about you and sends nothing off your device.
Data we collect
None. Quarry has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect personal information, usage data, identifiers, or location.
How the app works
- All problems, code editors, and the SQL and Python engines are bundled inside the app and run entirely on your device.
- Your code is executed locally inside a sandboxed component using on-device WebAssembly runtimes. It is never uploaded.
- Quarry makes no network requests during normal use and works fully offline.
Data stored on your device
Your progress (which problems you've solved and attempt counts) and any files you create in the Playground are saved locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us, and is removed if you delete the app or reset progress from within the app. Playground files may also be visible in the iOS Files app for your own convenience.
Children's privacy
Quarry is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Third parties
Quarry does not share data with third parties because it does not collect any data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
